No claims of being a performer. I just give it what little I've taught myself musically by songwriting. Recorded by mic, straight to computer as sound on sound.
Born at an early age, I was just a kid at the time....from there memory escapes me, until 2000 or 2001 when I decided to teach myself guitar. In order to teach myself guitar, I took to writing songs. From there, I added bass and occasionally, harmonica and a small touch of electric guitar. Not much of a performer, but I love to experiment writing songs. So, it's nine or ten years into it so far....and I've only scratched the surface with tons to learn. Maybe, you'll find something you like on the nearly three pages, I've loaded so far....Comments are welcome, I don't expect all comments to be favorable, but objectively constructive. I make no claims of being a performer....I just give it my best with what little that I've taught myself both musically and in songwriting. All songs are either written, played and sang by myself or my attempt at covering a song by my favorite artists.

Lyrics
Jessie Saturday, June 23, 2007 Wade Farlowe Em A2 Em Jessie, there's tons of understanding fools Em A2 Em They understand one thing .......that's you G A2 And you're at a promiscuous age G A2 Honey, don't turn that page G A2 Em Without checkin' your old man out for news Jessie, your Mom died when you were young I've tried my best, doin' what I've done And times, I've had to raise my voice But you still must make your choice It's no easier raisin' a girl than a son You say color's the issue, I address But it's clear to me; they're the same as the rest Like a mark on a gun You'll learn you are one Skirt chasers always find another dress Jessie listen, just let me have my say Then you can go on about your way You gotta live life for yourself Don't live it for someone else All I'm askin' is wait for true love someday Jessie, there's tons of understanding fools They understand one thing .......that's you Like a mark on a gun Jessica honey, don't find you're one Understand it's a fool, who falls for what's new Who falls for what's new Who falls for what's new Who falls for what's news

Hello Wade, I am new on Sc and just wanted to connect and say hi. I loved the song, Jessie, so beautiful, the tune, the lyrics, and the strumming! Added it to my small but growing SC radio station, adding the best of the best, in my opinion that is, lol. Rose :)

Well Wade Im always impressed and surprised by your unique kind of presentation. You produce an intensive atmosphere with your voice and its always like sittin alone in a desert or at the top of a mountain. You play for all that lonley wolfes -or? THis song has all what I excpect by an impressive country song -but thats not new, every of your songs has that property. You take me with you by singing... Erik

You can do a lot of various type of vocals. This can be both good and bad. It works well on this one. Clear and strong. Great story and message Wade.

Hi Wade, I agree with other comments I have never heard you quite sound like this. Good strong vocals.. Your lyrics are always top shelf. Nice work. Thank you for coming by and listening to my offerings. Seems like SC has sort of died this last year and good to see any activity. LOL! I think the thing that keeps us all going is feedback from our fellow muscians.

Wade, There is something different in this song that I can't put my finger on, but I REALLY like it!! And I mean that! At first I thought Jessie was a boy then in the last phrase you use Jessica so I knew it was a girl. What can you tell me about this story? It has such life! A keeper for sure!! Rosie PS.......love the photo of PAP! Is it really your Pap?

We love this song! With a different vocal style than any other song we have heard you do! It is captured very well and love the vocal tones you project. Sorta Roy Orbison meets Johnny Cash...love it!!!!!!!! The lyrics are wonderful, words of wisdom spoken to youth, in hopes they grasp the knowledge & understanding. Check your dad for news...that's great. Love every word!!!!!! The music is rock solid guitar bass in tha zone! This one has a shelf life, good to go over and over again!!!!!!!!! The sweet motherload of sound ~Wadestar~ It a perfect 10 on our score card! LL&P ~J&C~
